Multicultural Community Celebration Grants 2022
The Multicultural Council of Tasmania (MCOT) is providing grants of up to $500 to multicultural community organisations to assist with key cultural celebrations to be held in 2022. These grants are being offered consistent with MCOT’s Strategic Plan 2021-23, which includes the goal of supporting events of member organisations that build inter-group connection.
Events need to meet the following conditions:
- to not have received State Government funding
- to be free to enter
- to be open to the public
- to acknowledge MCOT support
- following the event, the organiser needs to outline attendance and how the grant was spent.
Applications for the Multicultural Community Celebration Grants are open now and will close on Monday 13 December 2021.
To apply for the grants you will need to fill out this form with information about your community organisation, what activities you will undertake to support your community and how much money you require for these activities.
