
Diverse Leadership Program DLP2024
During this intensive program participants learn through in-person training, networking and mentorship opportunities.This program will cover leadership competencies that reflect the unique needs of Tasmanian workplaces and communities.

The Diverse Leadership Program 2024 is a collaboration between MCOT, TasTAFE and Migrant Talent Connector.



Training is supported through the Tasmanian Government’s Training and Work Pathway Program 2023. The training cost is subsidised at $300.00 for program participants. There will be additional costs associated with any intrastate travel and accommodation related to completion of the program.
This training and development program is open to 25 participants.
To be eligible for this program, you must:
- Be from culturally and linguistically diverse
(CALD), non-English speaking, refugee or migrant background. - Be an emerging leader that can demonstrate motivation and aspiration to develop leadership knowledge and skills.
- Be committed to complete the program March-June 2024 by
attending 4 in-person workshops (scheduled for Fridays and Saturdays), networking events, mentorship and project work in Tasmania.
Participation in the Diverse Leadership Program 2024 will result in participants gaining knowledge and skills that will support their leadership in the Tasmanian community and management in the workplace.
An increase in confidence in participant’s leadership capacity may result, as well.

Delivered over four months across four TasTAFE campus locations in Tasmania. The program will start in March and finish in June 2024.
