Are you an emerging leader from a culturally and linguistically diverse background, employed and looking to take the next step?
The Diversity Leadership Program provides a suite of tools and models for being a manager and leader in your workplace. The Multicultural Council of Tasmania will work with key industry
stakeholders in facilitating networking and mentorship opportunities with Tasmanian leaders to enhance the experience
generated by the training. This program will cover developing
leadership competencies that reflect the unique needs of your organisation.
Course cost
Training is supported through the Tasmanian Government’s Training and Work Pathway Program 2022. The training cost subsidised at $250.00 for program participants. There will be additional costs associated with any intrastate travel and accommodation related to completion of the program.
Eligibility
To be eligible for this program, you must:
- Be from culturally and linguistically diverse
(CALD), Non-English speaking, refugee or
migrant background. - Be an emerging leader that can demonstrate
motivation and aspiration to develop
leadership knowledge and skills. - Be committed to complete the program by
attending all 4 workshops, networking events,
mentorship sessions and project work in
Tasmania.
What to bring
Be prepared with standard items such as a
pen, notebook or paper.
You may wish to bring your own laptop or
electronic device to assist with the training.
On successful completion of the program,
you will receive a Statement of Attainment
for the following units:

Location and duration
Delivered over nine months across four
TasTAFE campus locations.
The course will start in February 2023.
