The Multicultural Hub is a venue for hire for community cultural gatherings up to 110 people.
Hub Availability
The Hub can be hired seven days a week, between 8 am – 12 am (mid night).
Hub – Only
Important information:Cleaning time needs to be allocated and included within booking times.
Hiring Costs – Prices listed are excluding GST

The Multicultural Hub is a versatile venue for hire for community gatherings up to 110people. A refundable bond is required upon booking. The Hub can be hired seven days a week, between 8 am – 12 am(mid night).

Long term booking is not permitted during weekends due to high demand; however long-term bookings can be negotiated during the week. Please contact staff to discuss your needs.
Discounted rates are available for activities organised by or for newly arrived and emerging community cultural groups that are accessible to the wider community. Please contact Hub staff via email office@mcot.org.au or phone 03 6170 9196 to discuss your function and inquire about the criteria to receive discounted community rates.
What is included:
- Power and heating
- Toilets, including a toilet with disabled access, toiletpaper supplied
- Chairs (approx. 90)
- Tables (approx. 10 tables)
- Cleaning supplies, including broom, mob and cleaning chemicals
- A basic kitchenette with microwave, dishwasher, electric kettle and fridge are available for use
- Cutlery, cups and plates are available for use, though disposable ware is advised during the Covid-19 pandemic
What is not included:
- Projector: $5 extra per booking
- Sound System: $30 extra per booking
- Stage: $30 extra per booking
- Light package: $10 extra per booking
- Bean Bags: $10 extra per booking
- Cleaning service (referral for a professional cleaning service can be obtained, cost $60-100)
- Venue staff (extra costs associated with having staff help set up or support your event can be negotiated on an hourly rate)
Commercial Kitchen – Only
Important information: Cleaning time needs to be allocated and included within booking times.
