MCOT BOARD NOMINATIONS OPEN
We are pleased to advise that nominations for MCOT Board are now open. The MCOT Board plays a crucial role in guiding the strategic direction of the organisation, to ensure the voices of the community are represented at all levels of government.
If you are interested in this rewarding opportunity, please find details below. Please note Board members must be eligible members under the MCOT constitution rules. If you would like further information on board positions, please email Aimen Jafri (interim Chair) chair@mcot.org.au.
Nominations need to be sent to Mr. Lee Wilson, MCOT’s Public Officer, either by emailing a scan/photo of the nomination form to ceo@mcot.org.au, or by delivering this form to 65 Hopkins Street Moonah by COB Friday 22 September.

Notice of 2023 AGM
We wish to advise that the Annual General Meeting of the Multicultural Council of Tasmania will be held on Wednesday 4 October at the Multicultural Hub, 65 Hopkins Street Moonah. Registration of members will commence from 6pm and the meeting will commence at 7pm.
The Annual General Meeting will include the election of four ordinary board members, with two of these vacancies to be reserved for female candidates. Due to the resignation of the chair position in April 2023 this election will vote on a new chair under Section 22.5 of the Constitution.
Nominations for Board positions will open on Friday 1 September and close on Friday 22 September. Further Information will be sent via email in the upcoming weeks.
